With the absence of licensing or oversight in Minnesota's tile sector, the Certification Tile Installer (CTI) test administered by the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) serves as a crucial benchmark for professionalism, having awarded certification to fewer than 2000 installers nationwide since its inception in 2008.
